The media centre at Occupy Toronto, located at St James’ Park @ Adelaide & Jarvis, needs the following:
Solar lights – those ones you have in the garden? Can you spare a few? People are falling over themselves in the dar down there.
Rope lights. Maybe you’re one of those neighbours with the ultrabright xmas rope lights? You dont need ‘em for another two months – can you spare them?
A step ladder.
Rope and strong string.
Lawn chairs, folding chairs, deck chairs, bean bags, whatever you can spare that’s portable.
Power adaptors, extension cables, multiplugs. People are on Macs and PCs – do you have spare power cables so people can recharge?
A UPS (uninterrupted power supply). I have no idea what one looks like but if you think you have one, get down to the media tent and shout it out.
Finally, we’re checking for people who live close to St. James’ Park, Toronto, who might be able to lend us space on theirWiFi network, or let us set up our own account using their hardware. They need not be involved ‘officially’.
